These terms and conditions are governed and constructed according to U.K law. Our terms of trading do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
PDS forages.com and our personnel are completely dedicated to providing the highest levels of customer service. We will process any order placed as quickly and efficiently as possible and delivery is usually within 30 working days from our suppliers’ distribution offices.

We aim to provide high levels of customer satisfaction. In the unlikely event of a complaint you should send it in writing or email to the contact details above, please address any such complaints to the Managing Director. We will endeavour to respond to your query within 7 working days.
About Us
pdsforages.com is an operating unit of Practical Dairy Solutions.
Practical Dairy Solutions was formed in 2004 by TONY KIRK to specialise in dairy herd management and nutrition using alternative forage crops. PDS targets all aspects of growing, rationing and feeding home grown protein forage crops to provide a new concept in whole-crop nutrition whilst improving dairy margins.

Placing an Order
The procedure for processing a seed order is through direct contact with Practical Dairy Solutions. There is also an on-line quotation system which will deliver a seed quote by e-mail from a list of crops chosen through the pdsforages.com web site. The client may then contact Practical Dairy Solutions to order seed quoting their seed quote reference number, name and delivery address. The order will then be sent to Practical Dairy Solutions’ suppliers for processing.
Pricing
We pride ourselves on being as competitive as possible with our prices. If a product is advertised at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or a supplier error we reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order whether or not said order has been confirmed. In such a case we will make you aware of this and a full refund will be given, if required. (Errors and omissions accepted).
Seed orders are exempt of VAT and all prices are in £ sterling
Payment
Practical Dairy Solutions payment policy for its business services will be through a direct invoice. All seed orders will be through the supplier, who will invoice the customer,
Cancelling an Order
Either party may cancel any contracts not completed within 30 days from specified delivery date or a full refund will be given for goods not delivered. Refunds will be processed within 7 working days.
You have 7 days from the day after receipt of goods in which to notify us that you wish to cancel the order. The order confirmation includes cancellation instructions but you can contact our Operations Manager on 01290 - 551274 or by email at: info@pdsforages.com or write to us at:

Due to the nature of our products, any returns must be agreed in advance, repacked as they were received and we must arrange the collection. You will be charged the full return cost. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation of the goods.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights as a customer of Practical Dairy Solutions.
Site Security
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information collected about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data protection Act 1998). We only collect basic information provided by you to enable us to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service. You will be given the chance to refuse any marketing/promotional emails from us during the order process. We will never collect sensitive information about you other than the basic details you give us on the order form. You can check the information we hold on you at any time by emailing us and we will be happy to correct any inaccuracies promptly. Delivery of Goods
The delivery of seed will come direct from the suppliers of Practical Dairy Solutions. The delivery details, name, address, post code will be provided by Practical Dairy Solutions to the supplier.
Goods must be signed for on delivery. Only Practical Dairy Solutions has the authority to alter the delivery address. ON DELIVERY PLEASE THOROUGHLY INSPECT THE GOODS AND REPORT ANY DAMAGES, FAULTS OR ERRORS TO US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. We cannot accept liability for damages or errors if goods have been opened.
In the unlikely event of damages, faults, or error, these must be reported to Practical Dairy Solutions by phone, email or letter as per the contact details section.
Please note we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses incurred due to any delay in delivery of goods.
Practical Dairy Solutions and our personnel aim to meet the specified delivery times as detailed within this section. However, delivery of goods may be affected by factors beyond our control and therefore cannot be guaranteed. In the unlikely event of a delay in the delivery of goods you will be contacted by telephone or email.
Force Majeure
Every effort will be made to carry out the contract but its due performance is subject to cancellation by Practical Dairy Solutions or to such variation as we may find necessary as a result of inability to secure labour, materials or supplies or as a result of any act of God, War, Strike, Lockout or other labour dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought, Legislation, or other cause (whether of the foregoing class or not) beyond the sellers control.
Guarantees
All seed supplied is covered by the terms and conditions of the manufacturers guarantee, seed is regulated under a U.K certification scheme. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect and / or misuse. This does not affect your statutory rights.
